Ovenbird

Photographed in Mead Garden, Winter Park, Florida on April 29, 2010. This was a Great Day for birding in Mead Garden. Wow, the birds were everywhere. At least 13 species of Warblers were seen and in great numbers too. Everywhere I walked I could hear them singing their beautiful songs. Here is a partial list of birds seen today by myself and other birders:

Northern Parula, Cape May Warbler (M&F), American Redstart (M&F), Black-throated Blue Warblers (M&F), Blackpoll Warblers, Common Yellowthroat, Black-and-White Warblers, Worm-Eating Warblers, Black-Throated Green Warbler, Blackburnian Warbler, Prairie Warbler, Magnolia Warbler, Scarlet Tanager, Swainson’s Thrush, Veery, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Cedar Waxwings, & Catbirds.
