Yellow-throated Vireo

Yellow-throated Vireo

Yellow-throated Vireo

I photographed this Yellow-throated Vireo in Mead Garden, Winter Park, Florida, on Thursday, August 09, 2018. I was Birding with three other Birders and there were very few birds to hear or see during the first half of our walk. Most of the birds we saw were near the dam on Howell Creek. Paul saw this Vireo and I tried and tried to get a photo. I find the Yellow-throated Vireo very difficult to photograph. They usually are at the very top of a tree and when you finally see them they fly to another tree and I start all over looking. Today I decided to go back to the tree we saw it in earlier. I looked up and saw a bird moving in a nearby tree, I had time to take three quick photos and this was the first one. I left the park a Happy Man. Great Company all morning and a photo of a Yellow-throated Vireo.    A few new Migrants were seen this morning. Here is my eBird Checklist: https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S47741494
