House Wren

Photographed in Mead Garden, Winter Park, Florida on October 22, 2009.
This little bird was making a lot of noise. I don’t think it liked me walking on the Boardwalk, obviously in part of its Winter territory.

Whatbird: House Wrens are fiercely territorial, they have been known to destroy bluebird and other cavity nester’s eggs by piercing them, and then often removing the eggs from the nest.
House Wrens live up to 7 years in the wild.
