This is the same nest cavity that a Pileated Woodpecker carved into a dead Pine Tree In Mead Garden, Winter Park. FL the year before. The Woodpecker raised a family in this cavity also. A good reason to not cut down dead trees or at least leave 15 feet of the tree standing. […]
